บ้านโมเดิร์นที่หยิบกลิ่นอายความเป็นไทยมาใช้เพื่อคงความเป็นพื้นถิ่น ตั้งอยู่ที่อำเภอปาย จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน นำองค์ประกอบบ้านไทยเดิม — ค้ำยัน แป้นเกล็ด โทนสี — มาออกแบบใหม่ให้ทันสมัย คงภาพบ้านไทยยกใต้ถุนสูง แต่กดชั้นล่างให้เล็กกว่าชั้นบน ให้รู้สึกเหมือนชั้นสองลอยออกมา

A modern house that borrows a Thai vernacular spirit to keep its sense of place, located in Pai, Mae Hong Son. Traditional elements — struts, shingle panels, an earthy palette — are reinterpreted in a contemporary way. It keeps the image of a raised-stilt Thai house, but recesses the lower floor so the upper level appears to float.
